On Saturday September 22, 2018, the Paula Hian boutique was aglow with bright pink balloons, banners, and impeccably dressed women socializing and shopping.
Racks filled with meticulously designed European knits and geometric prints, an aura of goodwill and laughter was in the air as our special guests gathered for fashion and fundraising.
Paula Hian is a unique and bold standout in the luxury designer section of the King of Prussia Mall.
Aside from her visionary designs, Paula Hian is a philanthropic soul who generously gives back to the community, which includes being a long time partner with Susan G. Komen – Philadelphia, a non-profit organization devoted to fighting breast cancer.
Komen’s renowned board members were circulating the fundraiser, spreading awareness about the importance of early detection and research funding. Among them were Natasha Brown, reporter for CBS/The CW Philly and a member of the Komen Philadelphia family, and experts Dr. Monique Gary, DO, FACS from Grand View Health and Dr. Jamie Wells, MD, FAAP from the American Council on Science and Health.
The event donated a percentage of sales to Komen Philadelphia and awarded a Paula Hian design to one special guest.
Paula Hian, who believes “giving back is always in style,” will host more charitable events to support the causes important to her bespoke clientele. Meanwhile, Paula continues to travel in search of inspiration for her next collection of innovative designs to be knitted to perfection.
